Roma defender Gianluca Mancini scored his first goal of the season earlier tonight, gifting Mourinho’s team three precious points in a resounding win over Juventus.
After the final whistle, Mancini discussed the goal and the importance of the attitude Roma played with tonight in a post-match interview with Roma TV.
“Too bad for the defeat on Tuesday. That was unfortunate,” he said. “Tonight it was important to get back to winning against a great team. We did and we are happy with the result.”
“Before scoring, I saw the space in front of me, I called for Bryan to pass me the ball, I got the shot off and when it went in I couldn’t believe it.”
“I’m happy with the win, the goal comes second to the win,” Mancini added.
“We must think game by game now,” he continued. “The important thing is to always have this attitude, we know that we must not give up.”
