Roma captain for the night, Gianluca Mancini, discussed the upcoming match with Sassuolo.

Minutes away from kick-off at Mapei Stadium, Mancini was interviewed by DAZN and spoke about the adjustments that the Giallorossi will be required to implement following their recent draw with Servette.

“Mentality? You can only build it by working hard every day, always, it’s not something you buy on the market, you achieve it by building it as a team. We know that we are a bit limited in this, but we are working to improve and bring home the 3 points.”

On the fact that he is one yellow card away from suspension, Mancini remarked, “It definitely weighs on me. But in the end it’s part of football and central defenders are the ones who are a little more at risk with cards, I will play the game I have to play to win today.”
