Gianluca Mancini pens moving message after Europa League final heartbreak

One of Roma’s leaders and captains, Gianluca Mancini, penned a moving message to all Giallorossi supporters after the heartbreak in Budapest.

Two days after Roma’s defeat in the Europa League final, Gianluca Mancini wrote a lengthy Instagram post, thanking the fans for their relentless and passionate support.

“Thank you. There are no other words. The only word is thanks. Thanks to our people. Our fans, our beating heart, an entire city and a borderless faith that has made the world excited. From the Italian capital to Budapest.”

“Thanks to this group. This team. More than a team. A family where you win, lose, cry and always rejoice together. From the coach to the teammates, from the warehousemen and to those who are behind the scenes every day. Thank you, Roma.”

“The wound is deep, it hurts. But the pain does nothing but increase the love for this city, this club, these colours. Thank you because I am proud to play for Roma. The shirt, the fans, the people, the city. Everyone, from the first to the last. I will be eternally grateful. Thank you for this fantastic journey without limits, lived to the fullest like the beating heart that made its way from the capital to every corner of Europe
