Roma defender Gianluca Mancini briefly previewed this evening’s encounter with Salernitana.

In light of Lorenzo Pellegrini’s suspension, Gianluca Mancini will wear the captain’s armband.
In an interview with DAZN before kick-off, Mancini addressed the team’s preparations leading up to tonight.
“There is a great desire to do well today. After a month and a half between training camps and friendlies we couldn’t wait to play, we are excited and motivated for tonight,” he said.
“All of the new signings are exceptional lads, with heart and mind, they will certainly give us a hand this season.”
