Roma defender Gianluca Mancini reassured the media of the team’s level of readiness ahead of the Conference League final in a recent interview with Sky Sport.
“First we must focus on Torino in order to finish off the league campaign,” he said. “Then we can start thinking about the final.”
“Fatigue must not be an alibi for us,” he said when asked about the team’s physical condition could affect their final performances.
“It must not enter our dressing room. We had a game each week, now there’s Torino, we’re rested. Two more games and we can go on vacation.”
“If we are in this position in the league it’s our fault, we could have gotten more points in several games, we complicated things ourselves.”
