Gianluca Mancini to be rested against Salernitana

After an initial injury scare in the second half to Bodø/Glimt, Gianluca Mancini seems to be doing OK, reports Il Tempo.

The Roma defender underwent a series of tests on the painful knee upon his return to the capital. The tests, however, did not reveal any damage to the bone nor muscle.

Consequently, the Italian international is likely to be rested in the upcoming league fixture vs Salernitana.

Mourinho does not want to risk any further as Marash Kumbulla will replace him in the starting eleven.

Mancini will try and return already in the second leg of Conference League quarterfinals against Bodø/Glimt at the Stadio Olimpico scheduled for next Thursday.
