Gianluca Mancini to undergo tests on injured knee

After a shocking defeat in Norway, Roma return to the capital with one big worry, namely Gianluca Mancini’s condition.

The Italian centre-back walked off the pitch in last night’s loss with a hurt knee.

The Italian international was forced to a substitution as he painfully clutched his knee following a strong tackle on the host’s artificial pitch.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Mancini was seen walking normally toward the plane that would fly the team to Italy.

The defender did not need crutches, and was reportedly heard saying, “Let’s hope it’s not too serious.”

Mancini is expected to undergo further tests at Trigoria either this evening or tomorrow morning to assess the damage on the knee.
