Roma captain Gianluca Mancini was unable to conclude last night’s match with AC Milan.
The Italian defender came off at half-time, replaced by Lorenzo Pellegrini. As a result of his exit, Bryan Cristante slotted into the defense for the remainder of the game which Roma ended up losing 3-1.
According to Sky Sport, Mancini’s condition remains unclear – the Roma centre-back had been playing through a chronic groin injury for the past couple of months.
This time, the injury seems to have worsened, possibly preventing Mancini from featuring in the next few games for the Giallorossi.
