The wife of Gianluca Mancini posted a message on Instagram thanking Romanisti for the support shown toward her husband whose costly mistake proved decisive in the return leg with Bayer Leverkusen.
In the aftermath of Mancini’s own goal, Romanisti all over social media sent messages of support to the defender and his family.
Elisa Baggiani, the player’s wife, wrote on Instagram, “The dogs celebrate over the corpses of the lions, believing they have won, but the lions remain lions and the dogs remain dogs. Eternally grateful to all Romanisti.”
