Roma continue to push for West Ham attacker Gianluca Scamacca.
The Italian striker is the club’s primary choice to replace Tammy Abraham who is set to miss several months of action with a knee injury.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Milan have approached Scamacca and are holding talks with West Ham as they try to hijack the deal with Roma.
Roma, on the other hand, are still missing West Ham’s approval after reaching an agreement with Scamacca’s agents. As a result, Milan are edging closer to an agreement with the Hammers.
Scamacca has already made it clear that he wants to return to Roma at all costs and, although he’s keen on the idea of joining Milan, he will prioritize the transfer to his boyhood club until the very end.
