Former Juve goal-keeper Gianluigi Buffon – currently representing Parma colors in Serie B – discussed Paulo Dybala’s decision to join Roma after leaving Juventus as a free agent earlier in the summer. The legendary shot-stopper also wished the Argentine speedy recovery following his injury in last night’s win over Lecce.
“I can only compliment Paulo for what he is doing,” Buffon told ANSA. “Nobody can question his qualities. I always knew he wanted a new challenge and Roma were the most beautiful option available to him.”
“He’s very happy about how he’s been received by the supporters and what he’s been able to give back on the pitch. Now let’s just hope he can recover in time for the World Cup.”
