Former Roma and Inter player Gigi Di Biagio was asked to preview the upcoming big match at the San Siro between Simone Inzaghi’s Inter and Jose Mourinho’s Roma.
“It will be a very delicate affair for both sides,” Di Biagio told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “No one can afford to lose given their previous results.”
“It’s a shame that Mourinho won’t be there, that takes away from the beauty of the match.”
“Roma are a strange team: last year they didn’t play great, but they grew in terms of personality, they became a team, willing to fight and suffer,” Di Biagio remarked.
“Mourinho’s mentality, the one he brought to the club, is the difference-maker. Same as Zaniolo, Dybala and Pellegrini’s quality.”
“Dybala? He’s Argentine. He needs passion and warmth and Roma is able to offer him that. Roma is perfect for him: he’s happy, wants people and himself to have fun.”
“Zaniolo? I think he finally understood the responsibility that he holds in this city and his importance to the supporters.”
