Roma welcomed back Georginio Wijnaldum for his first group training session yesterday afternoon since going down with a fractured tibia in late August.
Mourinho and his staff are working with the Dutch midfielder in order to have him fully available in mid-January.
Wijnaldum himself previewed the return from injury and shared an update in his latest Instagram story, where he posted footage from Tuesday’s training session in Algarve.
“Not yet… but I’m getting closer!” he wrote.
