Roma midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum is expected to be available on Saturday evening after spending the past few days training with the rest of the team.
The Dutchman is nearing his long-awaited return to the field and was recently involved in an in-house friendly match with Roma Primavera.
The club medical staff, along with Jose Mourinho, supervised Wijnaldum’s movements during the game and the response was very positive.
Thus, Il Tempo reports that Wijnaldum could be called up on Saturday and earn his first minutes of playing time off the bench.
