Andy Mattioli

Gini Wijnaldum is looking to bounce back and contribute to Roma’s busy campaign following his recent return to the pitch in the Giallorossi’s draw with Lecce.

Tonight, the Dutch midfielder will be regularly on the bench as Jose Mourinho’s men prepare to face Salzburg in their first leg of the Europa League knockout round.

Wijnaldum is expected to earn more minutes in the next week and is also predicted to make his first start before the end of the month.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the ex-Liverpool man could feature in Roma’s starting line-up against Cremonese on 28 February.
