The return of Georginio Wijnaldum has been postponed once again as the Dutchman continues to recover from a fracture in his leg.
Despite taking part in some of Roma’s most recent group training sessions, Wijnaldum’s form is far from ideal and hasn’t been reintegrated with the rest of the team yet.
The player continues to train on his own for most of the time and is only included in non-contact group activities.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the club’s medical staff are considering his return in mid-February, with the match against Hellas Verona at Stadio Olimpico on 19 February deemed the most realistic date for his return.
