Good news for Jose Mourinho who will soon be able to rely on one of Roma’s top summer signings in Georginio Wijnaldum.
The Dutchman continues to recover from a fracture he suffered in training on 22 August which sidelined him for nearly five months.
The ex-Liverpool man is expected to return from his fractured tibia injury sometime within the next 3-4 weeks.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Wijnaldum touched down in Italy earlier today after spending the past few weeks in Holland and Dubai training individually.
The player will undergo a medical visit at Trigoria to determine his status for Roma’s upcoming trip to Portugal and finalise his return to the pitch in mid-January.
