Gini Wijnaldum is hoping to recover in time for Roma’s Europa League semifinal with Bayer Leverkusen.
The Dutch midfielder posted on Instagram a picture of himself during today’s training.
His recovery would be crucial for Jose Mourinho’s team as they look to face Bayer Leverkusen without the likes of Chris Smalling and Diego Llorente.
Despite suffering a muscular injury in Roma’s win over Feyenoord over a week ago, Wijnaldum seems on his way to make complete recovery ahead of Roma-Bayer Leverkusen scheduled on May 11.
