Roma midfielder Gini WIjnaldum – one of the club’s big summer signings – continues to recover from a fracture he suffered in training on 22 August. The Dutchman is now rumored to be close to the second phase of his recovery.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the ex-Liverpool man has completed all of the necessary tests in the first phase during which he closely worked with a medical team based in Rotterdam.
The Giallorossi are reportedly extremely satisfied with Wijnaldum’s progress and the player is hoping to be called up by Jose Mourinho either for Roma’s tour of Japan in late November or the club’s training camp in Portugal scheduled in mid December.
