Gini Wijnaldum’s recovery follows steady progress

New updates regarding Gini Wijnaldum’s recovery from a fractured tibia in his leg have emerged in this morning’s edition of La Repubblica.

The Dutch midfielder is now reportedly in the Netherlands where he is working intensively with a local physiotherapist in Rotterdam. For the time being Wijnaldum’s leg is still in a cast.

The player is expected to return to the capital in mid-October and undergo a check-up with Roma’s medical staff, which will determine the next stages of the recovery plan with the return date fixed for January.

Wijnaldum is in close contact with the capital club and signs point to a positive recovery.
