The return of Georginio Wijnaldum has been postponed once again as the Dutchman continues to recover from a fracture in his leg.
Despite taking part in some of Roma’s most recent group training sessions, Wijnaldum’s form is far from ideal and hasn’t been reintegrated with the rest of the team.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the club’s medical staff are considering his return in mid-February.
The Italian newspaper suggests a concrete return date could be 19 February – when Roma will face Hellas Verona at the Stadio Olimpico.
