The agent of Giovanni Di Lorenzo confirmed Roma’s interest in the Italian fullback.

During today’s press conference, Mario Giuffredi – Di Lorenzo’s long-time agent – addressed the situation around his client’s future and the rumors that linked him with an exit from Napoli.

“It’s true, Juventus, Inter, Roma and Atletico Madrid called me in recent weeks,” Giuffredi told reporters, as per Il Mattino.

“They had shown interest in Di Lorenzo, but we did not reach any agreement because Di Lorenzo wanted to stay at Napoli.”

“I called Di Lorenzo to explain everything to him and we took until the end of the Euro’s to decide. When he returned to Italy he told me that he wanted to stay in Naples, but I had advised him to leave; he was determined to stay.”
