Legendary Roma captain Giuseppe Giannini discussed the importance of a successful preseason in Daniele De Rossi’s first year as Roma head coach.
In an interview with Corriere dello Sport, Giannini said, “If the players have the right mindset and approach this moment of the year as a chance to build something, then preseason can be the single most important time of the season.”
“Assuming that Daniele has the capacity to take on a lot of pressure, starting from the beginning is very difficult and presents completely different complexities, as well as greater responsibilities.”
