With Edin Dzeko departing the capital earlier this morning, General Manager Tiago Pinto was also seen at Fiumicino Airport about to board the next flight out to London. His mission: to bring Tammy Abraham to Roma.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Roma’s technical director is expected to meet with Chelsea board to finalize the agreement between clubs, but more importantly, to meet with Tammy Abraham’s entourage.
Roma have formulated a bid for the 23-year-old attacker to bring him on a permanent deal to the capital. The payment would be spread across several seasons with an initial fee of €5 million.
Abraham has already spoken with Mourinho and the club await a response from the player by tomorrow. Pinto’s meetings in London will serve to accelerate the deal for the young forward.
Moreover, while staying in the English capital, the General Manager is also likely to meet with other players’ agents.
