The long, drawn-out transfer saga of Maxime Gonalons appears to be nearing its conclusion. Sky Sport has revealed that the Frenchman is closing in on a move to Turkish side Besiktas. The former Lyon man looks set to join on loan with an option to buy from Roma, who he joined in the summer of 2017. Talks between the Giallorossi and Besiktas are advanced as Gonalons is set to depart the Italian side after having spent last season at Sevilla on loan.
