Sampdoria have reportedly advanced a loan offer for Gonzalo Villar, which the Spanish midfielder promptly accepted following his return from an unsuccessful loan spell at Getafe.
The 24-year-old recently made his return from Spain and is waiting to understand which direction his career will take.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Villar’s priority is to establish himself in Serie A which is why he accepted Sampdoria’s recent approach.
The Blucerchiati want to sign the ex-Elche man on loan, but Roma are yet to give their approval.
The capital club are looking to permanently part ways with Villar and are therefore waiting for better offers to come along.
