Roma midfielder Gonzalo Villar praised the Giallorossi’s attitude and concentration following their 3-0 victory against Parma this afternoon at the Stadio Olimpico.
The Spanish midfielder made his first league start of the campaign for Roma and put in a very strong shift as he finished the match with an accurate passing percentage of 93.3%.
“I felt good today, but there’s always room for improvement,” Villar admitted to Roma TV.
“We were focused from start to finish today, which was the key to the game. The manager told us we couldn’t lose concentration and that we had to be ruthless from beginning to end. Thanks to this, we had a good performance.”
“Parma are very good on the counter but I think we did well in our interpretation of the match. Defensively, this was crucial for us.”
