Gonzalo Villar arrives in Rome

RomaPress – Roma’s newest reinforcement has touched down in the Italian capital. Midfielder Gonzalo Villar arrived at Fiumicino Airport in the Eternal City today just before 20.00 local time to complete his move from Spanish side Elche.

The Giallorossi will pay €5 million for the 21 year-old, who made 22 total appearances this season for the second-division Spanish side.

“It’s a dream, I’m very happy,” he said briefly to present media members upon entering the terminal.

The youngster will spend tonight in the city before going to Villa Stuart tomorrow morning to undergo his medical and then singing his 4.5 years contract with the club.
