Roma loanee Gonzalo Villar – who recently completed another temporary move to Getafe following an unsuccessful loan spell at Sampdoria – was asked about his decision to leave the Italian capital in the second half of last season.
Villar pointed to Mourinho as the main reason for his departure from Roma.
“I loved life at Roma until someone whom we all know came…” Villar said in an interview with Cope.es.
“I don’t want to talk much about him, I prefer to keep quiet. My time with Roma came to an end and this led me into some difficult situations,” he added.
