Sampdoria midfielder Gonzalo Villar – who joined the Blucerchiati from the capital club earlier in the summer – praised his ex-Roma teammate Justin Kluivert, lauding his technical qualities as a footballer in a recent interview with Miguel Quintana.
“When he breaks through, even if he is already playing very well, the world will discover a spectacular player,” said the Spanish midfielder of Kluivert who has signed with Valencia on a last minute transfer from Roma.
“He’s among the most complete players I ever played with. As soon as he starts to make the most of his abilities he can become a pivotal player for any team: he has everything. He is very fast. If he catches you sleeping, you can’t stop him.”
“He has a good shot, good dribbling abilities… In training I thought that he is the perfect winger for the qualities he has.”
