Gonzalo Villar is a step away from officially becoming a Sampdoria player after being excluded from Roma’s preseason earlier this summer.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Spanish midfielder will travel to Genova tomorrow where he will undergo his Samp medical.
Following the medical, the ex-Elche man will join his new teammates in Monday’s training session.
Villar is expected to join Samp on loan with option to buy for around €8 million.
