Gonzalo Villar is a step away from becoming a new Sampdoria player after concluding his loan experience at Getafe earlier in the summer.
The Spanish midfielder is travelling to Genoa today to complete his medical with Sampdoria, reports Il Secolo XIX.
Following the medical, the player will sign his contract and join his new teammates in their afternoon training session.
Villar’s transfer is expected to be on the basis of a loan with option to buy for €8 million.
