Growing optimism for Wijnaldum to Roma

Roma continue to work on securing the services of Dutch midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum who is on his way out of Paris Saint-Germain.

The 31-year-old has already given his OK for the transfer to the Italian capital and was has been reportedly in contact with José Mourinho who is personally involved in the negotiations.

According to Matteo Moretto of Relevo, there is growing optimism regarding a successful transfer.

The two clubs are working to bridge the gap between offer and demand.

More work needs to be done in order to reach a definite agreement, but the capital club hope to finalise the deal within next week.
