Roma are reportedly in talks to sign long-time target Hakim Ziyech on a permanent deal.
The capital club have identified the Moroccan midfielder as the ideal replacement for Nicolo Zaniolo whose impending move away from the capital is expected to take place sometime next week.
As a result, Roma have opened talks with Chelsea for Ziyech and, according to Tuttosport, found an agreement for his transfer to the Italian capital.
Ziyech is said to be enthusiastic at the idea of a fresh start away from Stamford Bridge and Roma would suit his qualities. However, for the ex-Ajax man to join Roma, the Giallorossi must first secure Zaniolo’s exit at all costs within next week.
