Hamburg want to hand Sporting Director Jonas Boldt contract renewal to ward off Roma interest

Roma continue to eye Hamburg’s Jonas Boldt as their next Sporting Director.

The Giallorossi will meet with the 38 year-old this week for the second time, but the German side aren’t ready to allow him to depart the club without putting up a fight.

Bild reports that the Bundesliga outfit has scheduled a meeting for next week with Boldt, whose deal expires next summer, to discuss a contract renewal.

Hamburg are aware that Boldt is being tempted by the calls from the Giallorossi, but they will do all they can to keep him at the club and continue to carry out the project he started.
