Il Tempo journalist Filippo Biafora has reported that Hamburg Sporting Director Jonas Boldt is starting to emerge as among the favorites to become the new Sporting Director at Roma.
The Giallorossi will, reportedly, have a second meeting with the 38 year-old German next week following their initial meeting nearly ten days ago.
Roma President Dan Friedkin and his son, Vice President Ryan Friedkin, have been in contact with Boldt throughout the last few months in regards to the vacant Sporting Director role at the club and have been left impressed by the young executive.
The American pair were intrigued with the project and ideas that Boldt laid out for them during last week’s meeting, which took place in Germany.
