Hellas Verona manager Marco Baroni previewed the upcoming Serie A match with Roma.

The two sides will face each other on the second Serie A matchday of the new season.

Fresh off an impressive win over Empoli, Baroni spoke about the challenges awaiting his men in tomorrow’s match-up.

“It will be a difficult match against a team led by a very good coach,” said Baroni of Mourinho who is expected to sit out tomorrow’s game as part of his suspension.

“Roma are an excellent team with all the credentials to make an important season both in and out of the league. We will need great desire and great dedication to play on equal footing with them.”

Baroni also addressed the sold-out Stadio Bentegodi which will back his men all the way through Saturday’s game.

“Enthusiasm is always positive if it manages to be transmitted, we must feed it with performance and attitude while also building a strong identity as a team.”
