Helsinki manager Toni Koskela addressed tomorrow night’s Europa League affair in the Finnish capital with Jose Mourinho’s Roma in his press conference earlier today. Koskela spoke about the need of both teams to win in order to stay up in the European competition.

“The match is an absolute must win for both teams,” he told reporters on Wednesday afternoon. “The opponent’s play can change a lot during the game, especially if the game is tied for a long time.”

“Then Roma could also try to score by force, as they did against Real Betis in the last round late in the second half,” Koskela added.

“But, we’re happy with how we’ve performed in our previous two home games, and how we’ve been able to control the play. This gives us confidence to face Roma and try to do the same tomorrow.”

“Unfortunately, the team has been suffering with flu symptoms, but some have already recovered. Otherwise, the preparation went according to plan and we had some good training sessions. We are ready for tomorrow,” he concluded.
