After going down to ten men in the opening fifteen minutes of tonight’s clash at the Stadio Olimpico, Helsinki were unable to hold Roma from scoring as the Giallorossi went on a three-goal run in the second half.

Finnish manager Toni Koskela regretted his captain’s red card after a professional last man foul on Andrea Belotti. “We played well, but everything changed after the red card,” he told reporters after the final whistle.

“We played mostly in defense but once the game was unlocked by the hosts there was little for us to do.”

“The situation got worse as the minutes went by, we tried to remedy it, but they scored two goals in four minutes. I made a change to the game in progress, we were trying to counter-attack but without success.”

When asked about which side is better – Roma or Real Betis – Koskela replied, “I’ll tell you in two weeks time.”
