As Roma and Helsinki prepare to face each other in a packed Stadio Olimpico tomorrow night with over 60,000 fans attending the game, Finnish manager Toni Koskela previewed his first meeting with Jose Mourinho to the media.
“This is going to be another amazing match in a sold-out stadium,” Koskela said excitedly. “The match will certainly be different from last week’s with Real Betis.”
“Playing away from home in European competitions is always very different, with the exception of some clubs.”
“Roma’s first result was certainly a big disappointment for them, so the start of the match will probably be really difficult, all the more so given their left-over frustration.”
“We will have to adapt to the pressure of the home crowd, the pace and the opponents’ pressure. Tomorrow we hope to be able to bring the self-confidence accumulated in the first match of the group. We have to believe in ourselves,” he concluded.
