Former Roma attacker Henrikh Mkhitaryan spoke to DAZN about his decision to leave the capital club in favour of Inter.
The Armenian player decided to sign with the Nerazzurri after winning the Conference League with Roma.
“I felt sorry leaving Roma,” said the veteran. “I played there three, won the Conference League and was able to become part of the club’s history.”
“Mourinho and the club tried to keep me for another year but I decided to join Inter instead and I think it was the best decision for everyone involved.”
“Now they got Dybala and I am happy for them,” he concluded.
