Former Roma attacker Henrikh Mkhitaryan – who completed a move away from the Giallorossi to Inter as a free agent in the summer of 2022 – spoke about his decision to leave the Italian capital following the Conference League win in May.
On the eve of Inter’s Supercup match with Milan in Riyadh, Mkhitaryan said, “I hope this will be my first and won’t be my last trophy with Inter. I hope to play many more finals with these colors.”
“I don’t regret my choice of coming here, I’m happy with the years spent at Roma and now I’m happy to be at Inter. I left Roma with my head held high.”
“When I arrived in Rome I said I wanted to win something and I did, now I’m ready to do the same with Inter.”
