Former Roma midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan – now at Inter Milan since 2022 – reflected on his time in the Italian capital.

In a recent interview with Frog Talks Podcast for Inter TV, Mkhitaryan looked back on his years with Roma and his overall stay in Italy since his decision to move there from the English Premier League in 2019.

“Rome and Milan are the cities where I felt best, I felt comfortable everywhere even in the locker room,” said the Armenian international.

“I enjoyed my time at Roma, when I was with the Giallorossi I was also captain for a match,” he continued.

“I feel responsible for the things I do and those I can’t do on the pitch, because if you have balls you do them otherwise you take a step back and allow others to take over.”
