A decision regarding Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s future will be made in the coming days by the player himself, reports Italian newspaper Il Tempo.
The ex-Borussia Dortmund man met with the capital club’s management (in the form of General Manager Tiago Pinto) yesterday morning, accompanied by his entourage represented by Vincenzo Raiola – cousin of the late Mino Raiola – to discuss Mkhitaryan’s plans for the future.
Recent reports claimed that the Armenian attacker had already reached an agreement with Inter.
However, at the moment the player is yet to decide between Roma’s offer for a renewal and Inter’s offer for a two-year contract.
Mkhitaryan is reportedly tempted by Roma’s proposal and his good relationship with the club and Mourinho may indicate that the Giallorossi are once again favorites to land the 33-year-old’s services for another season.
