Highly rated Roma youngster Davide Mastrantonio has completed a loan move to Serie C side Triestina.
The capital club announced the deal early this evening on social media—the move coming just three days after Mastrantonio signed a new contract with the club, extending until 2026.
The 18 year-old spent last season as the first choice shot-stopper for the Giallorossi’s Primavera side under Alberto De Rossi. He tallied 12 clean sheets in 31 league appearances and also became the starting goalkeeper for Italy’s U18 side.
Although he didn’t feature, Mastrantonio was involved with the first-team on a number of occasions last season.
