Hoffenheim’s Florian Grillitsch remains on Roma’s radar for January

The Giallorossi are out looking to strengthen the midfield at Jose Mourinho’s disposal in the upcoming January transfer window.

The capital club are monitoring several players for that position. However, according to Corriere dello Sport, the hottest name on Tiago Pinto’s list is that of Hoffenheim’s Florian Grillitsch.

The Austrian international continues to be viewed as the best option for Roma given his expiring contract and the profile that fulfills Mourinho’s indicated requirements for the midfield.

The 26-year-old Grillitsch plays with a lot of physicality and specializes in building from the back.

With a small transfer fee, the Giallorossi may be able to bring the Austrian midfielder already in January, anticipating the competition in the form of other Bundesliga sides.
