Roma midfielder Houssem Aouar analyzed his own performance shortly after the Giallorossi beat Slavia Praha 2-0.

The Algerian international was asked by reporters whether he thinks he still has room for improvement after joining the club in the summer.

“I think I need to improve with the ball, play with more freedom in my movements. I still need time: it’s the first time I leave Lyon, my country. I’m happy to play, but I need to improve,” said Aouar.

“Our Europa League ambitions? We know that we are a great club, with good players. We have pressure, but it’s normal, we have to go further than this. Today was a great match, but we can do even better.”

“Inter? We know that Sunday is an important match, but today’s match was also important. The coach said we had to win for our future in the Europa League. We were focused on this match, now we focus on Inter. For me it is an honor to play with this great club.”
