Roma midfielder Houssem Aouar was back on the scoresheet for the second time this season in last night’s win over Cagliari.
In his post-match interview with Roma TV, Aouar discussed the team’s performance and margins for improvement going forward.
“It was an important match, we were solid,” said Aouar. “We are happy with today’s result, we wanted to come here and win and that’s what we did.”
“Little by little I’m getting better, I need to get to know the team again. Last year was difficult, I need time to be at my best. Now I’m happy, it’s important for me and for the team.”
“We know we can do better, we hope we’re going in the right direction with this result,” he added.
