Houssem Aouar has been placed on Roma’s transfer list.

After only one season in the Italian capital, the Algerian midfielder is rumored to be on his way out.

Having joined the Giallorossi in the summer of 2023 as a free agent, Aouar has failed to convince the club to rely on him next season too.

Daniele De Rossi is said to have instructed the club to consider offers for Aouar whose role has been very limited this past season.

The ex-Lyon man only collected 16 appearances in Serie A with Roma.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, in an effort to slash the club’s wage bill, Roma director Florent Ghisolfi is looking to sell the player in the coming weeks,

Ghisolfi and Aouar’s agent are at work to find him a new destination.

Aouar has reportedly drawn interest in France and Saudi although at the moment the player’s salary demands seem to have been posing a problem to the clubs inquiring for him.
