Houssem Aouar discussed the possibility of starting over in the Italian capital his difficult break-up with Lyon.
In a recent interview with Corriere dello Sport, the Algerian midfielder outlined his personal ambitions after having joined Roma on a long-term deal as a free agent.
“I want to make the fans proud of me and of the team. To please them we have to fight for our colors and put on a show on the pitch, trying to win every game,” he told the Italian newspaper. “The ambition is there but every commitment must be approached with humility.”
“There’s so many good players on this team. Surely Dybala’s talent is special, you see it in any training session. But Lorenzo [Pellegrini] and El Shaarawy are also very skilled.”
